Brought my vehicle in for schedule service with appointment. Immediately upon arrival I was greeted by Jeff and he reviewed all scheduled maintenance that were recommended for my current mileage. Vehicle was taken back for service quickly and waiting room was quiet and clean. Wait time was minimal and all requested maintenance was completed as requested! Later that same afternoon, I received an actual short video from the service department showing me them actually showing me my measurements for tire tread depth, brake pad inspections, etc. This was the first time I’ve ever received anything like this from a dealership and I thought this was a phenomenal idea that was much appreciated…..well done Kurtis service department!

A very specific tool was needed in order to replace part of my vehicles front suspension system, it's build is unique to my model. Unfortunately tracking the tool down was not an easy task. Jill (service advisor) and the team at Kurtis were able to find the apparatus and get me on the schedule as soon as it arrived. Sam was very helpful when it came to picking me up after my vehicle was finished being serviced and assisting me upon arrival. Overall it was good experience.

I really appreciate Jeff's attention in getting our system changed out. The first parts that were installed turned out to be faulty, which required two return trips to your dealership to get the new parts installed. I'm sure for most that isn't a big deal, but living where I do, the trip to get to your shop takes 4 hours each way. I very much appreciated your crews ability to work with me on scheduling return trips around my work schedule, and also bad weather - I live on Ocracoke and have to take a ferry to get to you. I had a slow leak and called service to get an appointment and drove into the service area. . I explained the air leak and my car was taken to the service area. I waited . I’m writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with the service I’ve received from your dealership. Since the day I purchased my vehicle, I’ve consistently reported transmission issues. I was assured that my truck was covered under a lifetime drivetrain warranty, only to later be told it was voided due to a brake flush not being performed — a service unrelated to the drivetrain. I was then told I needed to pay $800 for a flush just to diagnose the issue further. To make matters worse, your team misdiagnosed the problem, had me pay for a valve body, and then attempted to charge me again when the real issue turned out to be the idler pulley. Throughout this ordeal, I was left waiting for hours with a newborn in uncomfortable conditions, and not once was I offered a rental — until the most recent visit. Even then, when I called your service writer to inform her the rental car keys were locked inside the vehicle, I was told someone would arrive with a spare in 20 minutes. That turned into a three-hour wait in the sun with an infant, because your team failed to notify the appropriate staff. Additionally, my truck was in your care for over a month, and despite being informed we would be on vacation, your team demanded the vehicle back. This entire experience has been unacceptable, unprofessional, and exhausting. Your dealership has repeatedly shown a lack of communication, care, and accountability. I will not be returning as a customer, and I will be sharing my experience with others to help them avoid similar mistreatment.

In April, I took my car in for servicing. During the process, an issue arose, but fortunately, we had purchased coverage through Ally, which covered most of the cost. We proceeded with an additional service and paid $399 at the time, assuming everything was settled. However, shortly afterward, Jill began contacting both my husband and me multiple times, stating that we had not been charged the deductible. I informed her several times that we needed to review the matter before proceeding, but the calls continued. Eventually, she began contacting my husband directly, which felt unprofessional—akin to going to one parent after the other says no. We contacted Ally directly and confirmed that not only did we not owe any additional money, but we had actually been overcharged and billed twice. When we returned to the dealership to discuss the issue, we were initially told we were only owed $62. After reviewing the charges ourselves, we found the correct amount to be $72, in addition to another $60 that Ally should have covered. When we questioned the manager about the charges and the hourly rate, he was unable to explain where the numbers had come from. He seemed completely unfamiliar with the breakdown and could not justify the amounts on the invoice. This lack of clarity and accountability was deeply concerning. Throughout this process, the manager was dismissive and did not offer any apology for the inconvenience. Thankfully, both my husband and I have strong backgrounds in math, which allowed us to catch these errors—something the dealership staff clearly struggled with. In the end, we were refunded approximately $120, though we believe we were entitled to a slightly higher amount.

I made appointment to have varois things completed on my Chevy Diesel truck routine service with fuel fikter, oil, oil filter, fluid change, in addition i had a check engine light on and a low coolant level. Received the truck back with "everything is complete" paid the bill and 6 miles down the road check engine light back on and 20oz coolant low. Went back in to fill with coolant cause i know it probally burped...filled and 6 miles down the road...low coolant level back up...just disappointed.

I was quoted one price on the L and then when I showed up, I was given another price because on the phone he didn’t tell me about taxes and extra surcharge I guess and I specifically asked the question when I was on the phone if that was everything out the door and my bill was done incorrectly. Jeff Amos has always been helpful with problems I was experience with my last truck to the first 2 service appointments I have had on my new Colorado. I had a few small, minor issues on this appointment with the entertainment center update and gas tank latch not shutting and they immediately got me in and fixed the radio and had the part in for the gas door the next morning. Jeff has always been friendly, up front, and very precise in his explanations and look forwarding to Kurtis doing all of the continued service on my truck going forward. Great job!

Person helping was pleasant but the fix was questionable. I thought it was the battery when I took it in and was told it was the catalytic converter which was less than 1 yr old.After a charge of $7000+and picking it, only to have the same problem about 2 hours later. When I returned it. The fix was a $311 battery. It has caused questions for me.

I was quoted $485 to fix my truck after running a scan. That part did not fix my truck. Was told that we need to change sparks plugs and I agreed. I did not asked that price of new sparks plugs. And I was charged $500 for new Sparks plugs. This price is way out of line. The bill for plugs should not have been no more than $200. Krit’s has been doing all my Severice for a couple of years now and this is the first time I have thought the bill was out of line with industry standards.

Oil Change fine. Tires rotated, inflated & sensor programing fine. However, I specifically asked for the engine coolant level to be checked as I had a low coolant warning that morning. I went there for two state inspections. My Colorado Passed. My Hyundi failed due to lic.plate light not working. Simple bulb replacement was not the cause. Thanks to the mostly unseen hard working people who get their hands dirty every day and fix vehicles my Hyundi was repaired and I was on my way all within one and a half hours. Thank you techs !!!! However management needs to place the free popcorn wagon back in the service department!!!

It took two trips and approximately six hours to attempt and succeed in programming a duplicate key fob for my 2024 Silverado EV (for the second trip I got a ride and left the vehicle for half a day) I should have checked this prior to taking the Silverado to Kurtis but having bought a 2023 Bolt and having my 2014 Volt serviced with you all, I didn't price the key / fob / programming with other, nearby, Chevrolet dealerships ... I would have saved approximately 20% if I had.

Your service department is outstanding! I cannot say enough about my experience last Saturday. I made an appointment for regular service for my Chevrolet Traverse and when I arrived I asked Jill if it was possible to have the car inspected too since I need to get my NC tags. Not a problem, she said. Jill shared with me what would be completed and the cost for each item, getting my approval first. Within no time, my Traverse was ready: inspection complete; regular service complete; upcoming service plan shared. I asked Jill about bringing my Jeep Wrangler in for a regular service and inspection; without hesitation she said, "Go get it and bring it back. We can do it." WHAT?!?!?! No appointment? Just like that? Absolutely. Same thing with my Jeep: Jill suggested service based on my mileage and the age of the Jeep, explained what it would entail and the cost. Based on my experience with the Traverse, I approved with no hesitation. I am so incredibly impressed with Jill Jewell and the entire service team at Kurtis Chevrolet. EVERYONE with whom I interacted was pleasant, professional, and genuinely seemed to care if my cars were running well. What an incredible team in that service department! On another note, I noticed that not only with the service team but also with the sales team interactions I could hear, people at Kurtis laugh and seem to get along and enjoy their work. That speaks volumes about the management and expectations for a cohesive team. I am so glad that I brought my vehicles to Kurtis Chevrolet--I highly recommend the service team and especially Jill Jewell who made me feel so welcome and important. Thank you.

This was the most disorganized and frankly embarrassing experience I’ve ever had. When I have to answer questions to help your customers pick up their cars because your staff is too lost to work together, it is bad. And I waited 15 minutes at the cashier window to finally have someone from parts (who sat there with 2 other guys chatting through the chaos) close my ticket so I could even pay my bill. The kicker is they left my keys in the fuel door. I could have just grabbed it and left and no one would have known. Ridiculous.

Service department didn't know we had an appointment that day - they were surprised to see us. Told them we needed a loaner vehicle since work would take a full day and we live in Swansboro. I asked them to tell us when the part was in ship and loaner was ready so we could come in. We were told the loaner was ready and to come in for the service but wife and baby waited almost 3 hours in the dealership for the loaner so they could leave. The wireless charger still has intermittent issues with charging, even though it's a new unit.

They are great for oil changes. But they do not have any trained mechanics. We took our truck in for a misfire. They hooked up the scanner and just started replacing parts. $1400 later we were told to run high test gas. I am not a trained machine but I started looking over the truck and exhausted it welded up and fix the problem. I believe they have no train mechanics. They do whatever that scan tool says do and do not look to see what’s causing the problem.
